A general cargoship has been sunk as an artificial reef off the US.
The 925-dwt Ana Cecilia (built 1972) was scuttled in 85 feet of water off Lake Worth Inlet, Florida, local reports said.
US Customs and Border Protection confiscated the vessel after cocaine valued at more than $10m was found on board.
It had previously operated between Miami and Cuba, carrying the first direct marine shipment of humanitarian goods since the US economic embargo began against Fidel Castro's communist government five decades ago.
