Three hundred cruiseship passengers gunning for a bit of adventure off the coast of Africa found themselves in the middle of a pirate saga this week.
The 352-berth UK-owned Spirit of Adventure was chased by suspects in a small boat in an hour-long ordeal near Tanzania on Wednesday.
As the 1980-built vessel was about 100 miles from its destination port of Zanzibar, a suspicious vessel popped onto its radar.
