An SNAV captain has been suspended after a Youtube video emerged of him allowing a female passenger to steer his ferry.
Italian Michele Siniscalchi, 54, is under investigation following a trip on 11 August from Naples to Capri on the 570–gt SNAV Alcione (built 1991).
The clip on Youtube, posted by a friend of passenger Mario Rosaria Federico, shows the short-skirted 25-year-old joking with the master as he demonstrates how to steer the vessel.
