Shipping will be on high alert as forces loyal to Libyan leader Col Muammar Gaddafi look set to try to win back the strategic oil port of Marsa el Brega.
Up to three ships were spotted laying just off the port on Thursday but none are braving the inner anchorages of the facility which remains firmly under control of rebel forces, TradeWinds understands.
