Two former B Navi bulker officers have been sentenced to nine years in jail in Ukraine in a case dating back to a drugs bust in Venezuela in 2007.
Captain Volodymyr Ustymenko and second officer Yuriy Datchenko were held in Venezuela for three years after cocaine was found strapped to the hull of the 38,500-dwt B Atlantic (built 1983) in Lake Maracaibo.
