Passengers were evacuated from a Norwegian Cruise Lines ship Friday after a passenger failed to scan a key card while boarding.
The Miami cruiseship owner said Miami police and US Customs and Border Protection are carrying out a security sweep on the 2,000-berth Norwegian Sky (built 1999) at PortMiami.
“In an abundance of caution, the ship is undergoing a secondary security sweep,” the company said in a statement provided to TradeWinds.
