Marenave Schiffahrts has sold a chemical carrier to Greece’s Ancora Investment as it takes another step towards its fleet sellout.

Ancora is paying around $13m for the 38,402-dwt Mare Baltic (built 2008), TradeWinds understands.

VesselsValue places a price tag of $14.63m on the Guangzhou SY-built ship.

This is the first vessel acquisition for the Greek owner in 2017.

Late last year, Ancora snapped up a medium-range (MR) tanker from Denmark’s Norden for $13.5m.
