Singapore-based Alpha Shipmanagement has sold a 22-year-old aframax tanker for demolition in Bangladesh.
Shipbroking reports show that the sale of the 114,000-dwt tanker (built 1996), which Alpha bought as the Muroran Maru in March 2013 for $8m, has been done on a gas-free basis with 700 tons of bunkers onboard.
