Anji Automotive Logistics of China returned to CSC Jinling Shipyard for a pure car/truck carrier (PCTC) newbuilding.
The Shanghai-based company contracted the state-owned shipyard to construct one vessel of 2,300 ceu for delivery in 2019, shipbuilding sources say.
One source familiar with Jinling confirmed the car carrier order, saying Anji’s contract is the first newbuilding deal for the shipyard this year.
