The French energy company announced that it won a job to install a floating LNG (FLNG) unit as part of a liquefaction project planned by Cameroon’s Societe Nationale des Hydrocarbures and France’s GDF Suez.
Michael Webber, who follows shipping stocks for Wells Fargo Securities, said New York-listed Golar LNG could bag to the job to provide the FLNG asset and facilitate LNG offtake.
