Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) has sold off one of its 1970s-built BGT LNG carriers for future conversion into a unit to serve a floating import project.
TradeWinds understands the sale of the 126,300-cbm LNG Capricorn (built 1979) was concluded this week. Details of the buyer and the price paid for the vessel have yet to emerge.
Electronic data shows the vessel arrived off Labuan in East Malaysia last week.
