George Economou's TMS Tankers is selling its only vessel built before 2000 for demolition.
The 100,000-dwt long range two (LR2) tanker Oriental Green (built 1998) has been sold with optional delivery in India or Bangladesh.
The ship, which is due for special survey in April next year, has gone for $385 per ldt or $6.7m.
TMS Tankers is busy expanding its fleet with modern units, both second hand and newbuildings.
