World Tankers Management has reportedly taken a pair of MR product tankers.
ST Shipping, the shipping arm of commodities giant Glencore, has chartered the Polys Haji-Ioannou-led company’s 51,800-dwt Mersini (built 2009) for a year at $13,250 per day, shipbrokers said. The deal includes an option for one more year.
Singapore-headquartered World Tankers has also fixed out the 50,000-dwt tanker Gerakas (built 2009) for a year, at the same rate.
