Kyklades Maritime is back at Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) with an order for VLCCs.
Shipbuilding players said the Alafouzos family controlled company signed up for two 319,000-dwt newbuildings last month with the South Korean shipbuilder, but the order was not reported at that time. It has not been disclosed whether the deal includes any options.
Officials at Ulsan-based HHI declined to comment on the yard’s shipbuilding activities, citing contract confidentiality.
