Crowley Maritime Corp has agreed a sale-and-charter-back deal with ExxonMobile for three Jones Act Trade tankers.
The deal will see Crowley Alaska Tankers acquire the 114,800-dwt Liberty Bay (built 2014) and Eagle Bay (built 2015) and the 46,103-dwt SR American Progress (built 1997).
SeaRiver Maritime, ExxonMobil’s shipping arm, will then take the vessels back on charter under varying multi-year terms.
