International Seaways, the US-based tanker owner, has added more tonnage to tanker pools operated by Navig8.
The 51,250-dwt Alexandros II, Overseas Kimolos and Overseas Sifnos (all built 2008) are set to join Navig8’s MR Tanker Pool.
The three ships, which are all bareboat chartered-in according to International Seaways, are scheduled to deliver to the pool in March and April 2017.
The Navig8 MR Tanker Pool currently contains 10 vessels with other pool members comprising the UAE’s Blue Lines Shipping, EShips, Brave Maritime, Samos Steamship, Hellenic Star Shipping, Singapore’s Executive Ship Management and Navios Maritime Acquisitions.
