Belgian group Jan De Nul is acquiring a chunk of Dutch owner Vroon's offshore windfarm vessel business MPI.
The dredging and offshore group described the move as involving a considerable investment of resources.
It will take over the 19,500-gt jack-up crane vessel MPI Discovery (built 2011) together with its crew, as well as a number of MPI’s employees.
No financial details were released however.
