A Greek-owned tanker has been sold in Namibia in an admiralty case.
According to court papers obtained by TradeWinds, the 36,000-dwt Huascar (built 1992) has gone to Peninsula Maritime Company for $2.8m, plus $200,000 for its bunkers.
The sale was made via a private treaty following an order from the Namibian high court.
GMTC I LLC was the applicant in the case, with owner Nodol Trading of Athens the respondent.
