Norway's DeepOcean has gained a foothold in the US with the acquisition of ROV player Delta SubSea.
Delta is a supplier of inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) services in the Gulf of Mexico.
It owns and operates 10 Schilling-type ROVs from its base in Montgomery, Texas.
These are mobilised on a fleet of six modern subsea construction vessels, four of which are US Jones Act-compliant.
