Sembcorp Marine has secured an FPSO newbuilding contract from US-listed subsea giant TechnipFMC, the company confirmed Wednesday.
The deal represents its third major newbuilding project in the offshore sector less than four months in a further sign of an improving market.
The Singapore yard group said it will undertake the engineering, procurement and construction of the hull and living quarters.
