SeaBird Exploration has signed a 30-day contract for a seismic-source vessel, following the completion of an eight-month contract in the same region.
This is despite industry databases listing the ship as being in multi-year lay-up now and over the previous eight months.
The Oslo-listed company notified investors that the 67-metre Voyager Explorer (built 2005), which it has under a joint-marketing agreement, will start the work in the second quarter of 2018.
