A semi-submersible drilling rig has secured a second short-term contract, just days after Maersk Drilling said it was taking the rig out of warm lay-up.
French oil major Total has selected the Maersk Deliverer (built 2009) for the drilling of an exploration well in Malaysia.
No financial terms were disclosed for the contract which is estimated to have a duration of 60 days in the Block DW-N Sabah located offshore Malaysia.
