Singapore-based Kumiai Navigation has ordered a second pressurised LPG carrier newbuilding at Japanese shipyard Sasaki Zosen.
The subsidiary of Japanese shipowner Kumiai Senpaku said it has signed up for an additional 5,000-cbm vessel for delivery in February 2020.
Kumiai Navigation ordered its first LPG carrier in March and is due to take delivery of the vessel in July 2019. The pair will be the smallest LPG ships in the Tomomaru Kuroyanagi-led company's fleet.
