LNG carrier spot chartering over the past six months has been flat despite a 27% increase in the number of vessels competing for business, according to Poten & Partners.
In its weekly opinion slot, the shipbroker says 136 LNG spot fixtures were recorded from January to the end of June, exactly matching the number logged for the corresponding period last year.
