A 10-year-old steam turbine LNG carrier put up for sale by NYK last year remains unsold with the likely buyer needing more time to conclude a deal on the ship.
Senior company officials tell TradeWinds that the company has a serious buyer for the 149,786-cbm Grace Acacia (built 2007) but without disclosing the name of the interested party.
They suggest any sale may take a couple more months to conclude as the buyer cannot move on a speculative basis and will need to secure target business for the ship first.
