Martin Stopford, Citigroup’s Michael Parker and Lloyd’s Register’s Tom Boardley are among several leading industry figures selected by the UK government to devise the nation’s future maritime strategy.
UK transport secretary Chris Grayling says the “group of experts” will work closely with industry contacts to “help make sure the UK stays at the forefront of global shipping over the coming decades”.
