Norway's shipping fleet is today larger than at any time in the nation’s maritime history, said the country’s shipowners’ association chief as Nor-Shipping kicked-off in Oslo.
At a welcome dinner at the Norwegian Shipowners' Association (NSA) headquarters, Sturla Henriksen recalled that the maritime industry was influential in the separation with Sweden in 1905 and the first two presidents of the NSA were also Prime Ministers of Norway.
