A new Greek tug consortium will kick-off operations on 1 May, claiming to be in control of the largest tug fleet in the eastern Mediterranean.
Owners Vernicos, Karapiperis and Lyboussakis will trade under a new joint venture name Aegean Tugs.
The company is a continuation of the existing alliance called Hellenic Tugs.
The change of brand name reflects the departure of one partner.
