A Greek bulker has been towed into an Alaskan port after losing power en route from China.
KUCB reported that the 82,000-dwt Ecofaith G.O. (built 2012) reached Broad Bay on Saturday after the incident last month.
Lisa Krebs-Barsis, a supervisor with the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation's response programme, was quoted as saying: "It was in ballast on its way to Prince Rupert, and it had no cargo onboard.”
